Rubin's Eye Original Rosewood Prototype
The first fully functional prototype made from solid rosewood. Rubin's Eye is a vision demonstrator that shows the mechanics of refractive disorders. Using a light source and an inverted slide, along with an "eye" with an adjustable axial length, a retinal "screen" and interchangeable corneal lenses, you can show your patients the physical cause of refractive disorders and the resulting effect on visual acuity. An incredibly easy way to explain astigmatism and includes an "accomodating" crystalline lens. One of a kind.
